HIP FLEXOR STRETCH

The dreaded HIP FLEXORS! We sit soooo much and this area gets so tight. The tighter the front the more pinched the back and pretty soon it becomes very uncomfortable to lie with our legs straight out. Either our low back won't go flat and feels strained, or our knees won't lie flat and we feel like we need to keep them supported leading to sleeping with a roll under our knees or only lying on our sides all curled up.

It is AMAZING how much difference opening up the front can make.

Of course, I recommend at least a 2 minute hang each side plus straightening and bending the hanging knee gives more of an active release. Can also modify by holding under the pulled up leg instead of on top of the knee.
