Jaclyn Betham is a former prima ballerina and a seasoned Pilates instructor, certified in Stott Pilates with specialization in athletic training, pre/postnatal, and injury prevention and rehabilitation. Jaclyn found Pilates originally as a means of injury recovery and cross-training. It was a very natural transition from her professional ballet background to Pilates, which has become her ultimate passion.
She has been teaching both ballet and Pilates for 17 years. She is also an accomplished actress and California native, residing in Los Angeles. During this class, participants will be guided through slow, controlled movements that build strength, flexibility, and mobility. By working evenly with subtle moves, no muscles are ever over- or undertrained, creating balance in the body. All you need is some space and a mat.
